Inability to leave early or take more time off work.
More privacy and comfortable, familiar environment (ideal for anxiety, depression, stress, etc.)
Caregiving for a family member.
Homebound clients with limited mobility or lack of transportation.
No commute - saves time and travel costs

Online counseling is pretty easy. Upon contacting for an initial appointment, just inform me that you prefer Telemental Health sessions. Then we will discuss whether Telemental Health is the right fit for you and your next steps.
-
Yes, it is, just like an in-person session! The Telehealth platform used is encrypted and HIPAA-compliant.
-
Maybe. Some do and some don't. It is recommended that you call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card to ask if your policy will cover Telehealth sessions. Also, check if co-pays and deductables are part of your insurance plan to avoid unpleasant surprises.
-
Getting started is simple. You can reach out through the contact form to schedule an initial consultation or your first intake appointment. During our first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process.
-
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your goals, background, and what challenges you’re currently facing. This also gives you a chance to ask questions and see if we’re a good fit.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, emotional regulation, life transitions, and personal growth. My approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs and experiences.
-
My work integrates several approaches including Gestalt therapy, trauma-focused CBT, DBT skills, somatic therapy attachment-based therapy, and EMDR (currently in training with ongoing consultation). This allows me to adapt therapy to what works best for each client.
-
Standard sessions are typically 53 minutes. Longer sessions may be scheduled when appropriate, particularly for certain trauma-focused treatments.
-
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. As progress develops, we may adjust the frequency based on your goals and needs.
-
Progress in therapy often looks like increased self-awareness, improved coping skills, healthier relationships, and feeling more equipped to handle life’s challenges. Small shifts over time often lead to meaningful change.
-
Yes. Confidentiality is an important part of therapy. Information shared in sessions is kept private with a few legal exceptions, which will be explained during your intake.
-
That’s completely okay. Many clients start therapy without knowing exactly what to expect. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and experiences at your own pace.
-
Yes, I only offer virtual Telehealth sessions across Florida. Virtual therapy can provide flexibility while still maintaining meaningful connection and support.
-
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, are subject to a $100 late cancellation fee. This helps maintain availability for all clients.
-
The therapeutic relationship is important. The first few sessions allow us to explore whether the approach and connection feel helpful for you. If needed, I’m always happy to help connect you with other resources.
